Watt-Brooks team roping victory leads EMCC men to runner-up rodeo finish in Arkansas
The East Mississippi Community College men’s rodeo team registered its third second-place finish of the 2023-24 season by claiming runner-up team honors at last week’s Weevil Stampede hosted by the University of Arkansas at Monticello. The three-day rodeo concluded Saturday evening at the UAM Diesel Training Academy.

East Mississippi Community College had four team ropers earn top-four individual finishes during last week’s 56th Annual UT Martin Rodeo held at the University of Tennessee at Martin. The three-day event concluded this past Saturday at the Ned McWherter Agricultural Complex.

Dylan Delmas’ first-place effort in the steer wrestling event helped pace the East Mississippi Community College rodeo team to a fourth-place men’s finish this past weekend in EMCC’s 12th Annual Intercollegiate Rodeo. The three-day, spring-opening Ozark Region rodeo concluded Saturday evening at the Lauderdale County Agri-Center.

East Mississippi Community College’s team ropers combined for 580 total points to help lead the Lions to men’s team runner-up honors at the UWA Rodeo Showdown held this past weekend on the University of West Alabama campus.
