The East Mississippi Community College men’s rodeo team earned a second straight Top 10 national finish by placing seventh this past week at the season-ending College National Finals Rodeo. The week-long event concluded Saturday night at the Casper Events Center.

East Mississippi Community College’s 13th-ranked men’s rodeo team is set to make a school-first team appearance at the College National Finals Rodeo this coming week (June 11-17) in Casper, Wyoming. With competition slated to begin Sunday, the week-long CNFR will conclude with next Saturday night’s championship round at the Casper Events Center.

The East Mississippi Community College men’s rodeo team has qualified for next month’s College National Finals Rodeo for the first time in program history after finishing the regular season as reserve champions of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association’s Ozark Region. The 2017 CNFR will take place June 11-17 at the Casper Events Center in Casper, Wyoming.
