With three top-20 individual finishers, the East Mississippi Community College men’s golf team placed seventh at this week’s Lou Hart Invitational played at Northwood Country Club. The two-day event hosted by Meridian Community College concluded Tuesday afternoon.
The East Mississippi Community College men’s golf team took advantage of Tuesday’s improved spring weather by finishing in third place at this week’s Spring Golden Tiger Collegiate Invitational hosted by NAIA member Brenau University. Monday’s opening-round play was halted early due to rainy and chilly weather conditions at Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville, Georgia.

Slated to tee off Monday, the two-day, EMCC-hosted invitational tournament (Sept. 16-17) will mark the opening of the 2024-25 MACCC men’s golf conference schedule in addition to serving as a preview competition for next spring’s NJCAA Gulf District Championship to also be hosted by EMCC.
