EMCC reinstates men’s golf program; Lions looking for interested golfers
Following a three-year hiatus from competition, East Mississippi Community College has reinstated its men’s golf program.
SCOOBA — Following a three-year hiatus from competition, East Mississippi Community College has reinstated its men's golf program.
EMCC's Director of Golf Operations Will Arnett is encouraging interested and currently enrolled EMCC students to contact him with questions. Interested EMCC students may also visit EMCC's athletics website (www.EMCCAthletics.com) to complete an online recruit questionnaire from the men's golf page.
East Mississippi Community College is scheduled to make its return to the competitive links during the upcoming 2021-22 academic year. EMCC's Golden Triangle campus is located in Mayhew with Lion Hills Center and Golf Course serving as the team's home golf facility. The Lions will participate in the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) and be classified as a Division II member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
