Ninth Annual EMCC Football Golf Classic slated for May 2nd at Lion Hills in Columbus
East Mississippi Community College’s five-time national championship football program will be hosting the Ninth Annual EMCC Football Golf Classic on Friday, May 2nd, at Lion Hills in Columbus.
SCOOBA – East Mississippi Community College's five-time national championship football program will be hosting the Ninth Annual EMCC Football Golf Classic on Friday, May 2nd, at Lion Hills in Columbus.
With proceeds going to the Lions' football program through the EMCC Development Foundation, the cost of the four-person scramble event will be $300 per team. The cost will cover green/cart fees, driving range accessibility before the classic, lunch and beverages during the event, and a team photograph. With the tournament limited to 22 teams, a shotgun start is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Prizes during EMCC's football fundraiser will be awarded for hole-in-one shots as well as for the longest drive and closest to the pin.
Interested participants are strongly encouraged to register their teams in advance using the QR code available within the football news section on EMCC's athletics website (www.EMCCAthletics.com). A tournament brochure can also be accessed online.
