SCOOBA – East Mississippi Community College's weekly sports show, "Inside the PR1DE," makes its season debut Sunday evening in the Columbus and Meridian TV markets. The premiere episode will be broadcast in HD beginning at 5 p.m. on Meridian's WGBC-TV and at 11:05 p.m. on WCBI-TV in the Columbus viewing area.
Produced by EMCC media director/athletic video coordinator Derek Cody, Sunday's first episode, entitled "Incomplete," will focus on the end of last year's 8-2 campaign, which concluded with a pair heartbreaking, one-point setbacks by the Lions. Viewers of the season premiere will also be treated to a behind-the-scenes look into the team's preseason media day, intro video shoot and a never-before-seen perspective during the Lions' intra-squad preseason scrimmage.
Each week, "Inside the PR1DE" will also feature game highlights as well as providing a unique perspective of the game from the sidelines. Along with making a TV run of 13 consecutive weeks on both WCBI (Columbus) and WGBC (Meridian), the weekly program will continue to be available on the school's athletics website, www.EMCCAthletics.com, and on EMCC's You Tube channel (EMCCAthletics).
