EMCC cheerleading to hold three spring stunt clinics on Scooba campus
East Mississippi Community College will be holding three cheerleading spring stunt clinics at the beginning of the next three months in advance of the college’s 2023-24 cheerleading tryouts.
SCOOBA — East Mississippi Community College will be holding three cheerleading spring stunt clinics at the beginning of the next three months in advance of the college's 2023-24 cheerleading tryouts.
With EMCC cheer stunt clinics set for Feb. 5, March 5 and April 2 on the Scooba campus, interested tryout participants must attend at least one of the clinics in order to participate in the school's upcoming cheerleading tryouts that will take place this spring at a date to be determined. Stunt clinics are scheduled from 2-4 p.m. during all three dates, with the February and March clinics taking place at EMCC's Dottie Smith Family Center for Instrumental Music Education and April's clinic being held at EMCC's Keyes T. Currie Coliseum.
East Mississippi's cheer stunt clinics are open to male and female high school juniors and seniors as well as current college students with eligibility remaining.
Along with a $20 registration fee per individual to be paid in cash or by check made payable to the EMCC Development Foundation, interested EMCC cheer stunt clinic participants must submit a completed registration form, a signed clinic/tryout waiver, and a copy of a current physical.
