East Mississippi Community College is set to host the inaugural Lion Fall Classic softball tournament Sunday on the Scooba campus. With Mississippi State University as well as Alabama junior college softball powers Southern Union State and Wallace State-Hanceville also scheduled to compete, the day-long tournament will feature five total games beginning at 10 a.m. at the EMCC Softball Field.

Sunday's full slate of softball action in Scooba will commence with East Mississippi playing host to Southern Union State, followed by SUSCC taking on Mississippi State in a scheduled noon start. Coach Vann Stuedeman's MSU Bulldogs will then meet Wallace State-Hanceville at 2 p.m., while fourth-year EMCC head coach Kyndall White's Lions will conclude Sunday's action with a 4 p.m. doubleheader against Wallace State.
