EMCC set to host collegiate rodeo at Lauderdale County Agri-Center
Exciting collegiate rodeo action returns to the Lauderdale County Agri-Center this week, as East Mississippi Community College’s 8th Annual Intercollegiate Rodeo kicks off Thursday in Meridian. The three-day event will conclude with Saturday night’s championship round.

East Mississippi concludes fall rodeo slate at Murray State-hosted event
The East Mississippi Community College rodeo teams closed out the fall portion of their NIRA Ozark Region schedule with a third-place women’s finish and a fourth-place men’s showing at the Murray State University Racer Roundup this past weekend. The three-day collegiate rodeo concluded Saturday night at the Bill Cherry Expo Center.

The East Mississippi Community College rodeo teams continued their successful fall season by claiming the men’s title and posting a third-place women’s finish this past weekend at the Southern Arkansas University Intercollegiate Rodeo. Myles Neighbors and Jaylie Matthews pace EMCC rodeo teams at West Alabama event
Led by first-place individual finishes from Jaylie Matthews and Myles Neighbors, the East Mississippi Community College rodeo teams placed third and fourth in women’s and men’s team competition, respectively, this past weekend at the UWA College Rodeo Showdown. The three-day event concluded Saturday night at the Don C. Hines Rodeo Complex on the University of West Alabama campus.
