East Mississippi set to host MACJC State Men's Golf Championship this weekend at Lion Hills in Columbus
The state's best junior college golfers will converge on Lion Hills this weekend in Columbus, as East Mississippi Community College hosts the MACJC State Men's Golf Championship. The two-day tournament is set to tee off Saturday morning at 8 a.m. and conclude with Sunday's final round.

Set to be joined by teams from Copiah-Lincoln, East Central, Hinds, Itawamba, Jones County, Meridian, Mississippi Gulf Coast, Northeast Mississippi and Northwest Mississippi, head coach Benji Williams' East Mississippi golf squad will be represented by sophomores Chase Chitwood (Jessieville, Ark.), Steven Eilders (Ridgeland), Hunter Harmon (Vardaman) and Trent Humber (Caledonia) along with freshman Daniel Schroder (Baton Rouge, La.).
